Set in 1813, in England, this feature-length, Regency rom-com musical screenplay insinuates a comparison between this distant period and our present day in the U.S.

A working-class young woman grapples with the conflicting goals of a childhood infatuation with a wealthy boy that incentivized her to self-educate and the responsibilities thrust upon her when her final parent dies. Suitors offer her ways out of the labyrinth of problems she faces, but her heart longs for the young man who’s never faced a problem in his life.

A middle-aged rom-com star who thrives on audience adoration uses a lesbian-dating app to research a new role and falls in love. She must redefine what love and career mean to her before she loses both.
